Move the mesh chair to the TV: Watch HaloShort together

Move the mesh chair over, but still leave room to get up.

An office mesh chair is normally used around a desk. After moving it to the TV area, the backrest, base, and armrests take up another patch of space. When placing it, check whether people can still get past around the coffee table and whether the backrest blocks anyone behind. For models with casters, use them on suitable flooring according to the instructions—don't wedge the chair so tightly into a gap beside the sofa that it gets stuck.

Once seated, take a look at the screen. If the seat is higher or lower than the sofa, the spots where subtitles get blocked may differ. Moving small objects in front of the TV or adjusting the chair's angle usually tells you whether the problem is the placement or the content itself.

Choosing shows on TV: a remote makes it easier for everyone to join in.

HaloShort can be navigated with the direction, confirm, and back keys, and it also offers episode selection. Hand the remote to whoever wants to pick something, and everyone looking at the same candidate page makes it easier to decide together. Its subtitles depend on the actual episode, so read a few lines after it starts to confirm everyone can follow.

To see what's in the app, check HaloShort and learn about downloading from the Emotn store. Content is currently free and works on compatible Android TV or Google TV devices.

That short drama from the phone earlier—will it definitely be findable on the TV?

It depends on where the original content comes from and what HaloShort actually offers. You can search by title; if you don't find it, pick another story that interests you. Don't assume that switching to a bigger screen means content from any platform will automatically appear.
