Office chairs built by the container, not the carton.

Chaoya makes executive, mesh, guest and stacking seating in Anji — the part of China where most of the world's office chairs are put together. We sell to importers and contract buyers who order by the 40HQ, not by the dozen.

What we make

Three families we hold the most tooling for

Our catalogue runs wider than this — guest, dining, folding and big-and-tall are all in production — but these three are where we are quickest to quote and sample. The photos below are our own chairs.

How we test

What "tested to standard" means here

We build to the seating standards your buyers ask about. We do not sell certificates we do not hold — when an order needs a stamped report, we say so up front and arrange the test.

BIFMA X5.1

Task and executive chairs are built to the BIFMA general-use bench tests — back-rest cycling, seat impact, stability and the drop test. The cycle count we run depends on whether a chair is rated for home or 24-hour use.

EN 1335

For European office buyers we work to EN 1335 type A/B/C dimensions and the safety and durability parts. Tell us the type and we match seat height, depth and back geometry to it.

EN 12520 (home)

Guest, dining and visitor chairs that go into domestic settings are built to EN 12520 strength and durability. Third-party testing through SGS or TÜV can be arranged per order.

Why buyers stay with us

A mid-size factory is the point, not the apology

We are not the biggest plant in Anji and we do not pretend to be. With 600-odd people and a single 45,000 m² site, the person quoting your order can walk to the line and check it. That is why a sample comes back in days, not weeks, and why a spec change does not get lost between three subcontractors.

The honest trade-off: for a 50,000-chair government tender on a fixed week, a giant plant may beat us on raw price. For mixed containers, frequent model changes and buyers who actually read the inspection report, our size works in your favour.

  • Mechanisms and foam in-houseTilt mechanisms, gas lifts (Class 3/4), moulded and cut foam handled on site, so a fault has one owner.
  • Packed for the long haulDouble-wall cartons, corner protection and gas-lift packing tuned over years of FCL shipping to cut transit damage.
  • We tell you what we are weak atIf a model sits outside what we do well, we say so before you spend on samples.

Where our chairs go

Export-built, not export-curious

We show up in US import records and on the B2B platforms buyers actually use. Specific destinations move with the order book; the buyers below are the kind we pack and label for most often.

Start a conversation

Send the model and the quantity — we'll quote the real thing

A short, specific message gets a faster reply than a long one. Tell us the chair, how many per model, your market, and whether you want OEM (your spec) or ODM (our design). If we are not the right factory for it, we will point you somewhere better.
